(re)discover you
Hey, I'm Ariel! As a licensed clinical social worker and therapist, I'm passionate about healing, growth, and supporting clients in getting closer to their own dreams and goals. With a background in trauma-informed counseling, and experiences in community centers, schools, outpatient programs, and telehealth, I specialize in creating a safe, flexible, and supportive space where we can explore and work through challenges.
I incorporate expressive arts and somatic (body-based/mindfulness) practices to make therapy even more engaging and effective. Whether you're navigating a time of significant transition, coping with loss, dealing with depression, anxiety, or complex trauma, or feeling like no label or diagnosis can capture your experience, I'm here to support you.
My approach is centered around curiosity and exploration, as we work together to discover or remember the strengths within. I believe in the power of connection and self-expression, and I'm dedicated to helping young people (ages 8-30) learn, express, and reconnect with themselves. In our sessions, if you're open to it, we'll embark on a journey that combines therapy with playful and creative methods. By tapping into the arts, mindfulness, and body awareness, we'll navigate through challenges, embrace personal growth, and move closer to the life and values we envision.
I'm excited to meet you and learn more about your unique story. It's brave to seek support, and I believe you have the resilience you need, I'm here to support finding meaning, figuring out ways to cope that actually work for you, and creating possibilities for positive change--as defined by you.
